View Full Version : Local Class III transfer Fees?

I spent some time googling and have had little success in finding out transfer fees for Class III items from local class III dealers. This is for people intending to order NFA items from a retailer not local or a manufacture and having it sent to an NFA dealer that can transfer it to the purchaser.
If anyone has any recomendations for who to use i would sure appreciate it, as would anyone else I'm sure in the same situation.

I will be ordering a couple muzzle mufflers and i'm looking for a place that doesn't charge 6 fingers and a toe for it.

So far I've got Centennial gun Club at $300 a pop, anyone have any better suggestions? i'd like to avoid paying $1500 in tax stamps and transfer fees if possible... when did it get so expensive to have fun?!

I charge $50 each for "muzzle mufflers".

The average price is $50. ANYONE ask for more than $50-75 TOPS walk away, unless you're bringing in multiple NFA from multiple vendors. Besides Bear Arms, i'd contact colorado hack. He 's also located in the vendor forums under Danger lee ind

Any recommendations on SW Metro area dealers willing to do transfers? I stopped in at MGTours, and they said they no longer do transfers.

Let us know what they quote. I used wildfire a couple years ago, I recall being charged something like $80 or $100 for the class III transfer.
