That the place that has a 2 marg limit? Really pissed me off last time I was there. When I asked why, they said because there's 3 shots of tequila in each one. Now, I had been steadily drinking all day. If I had 6 shots of tequila in 30 minutes, I would have been on the floor. Instead of arguing, I just ordered 4 Pacifico's. They didn't have a problem bringing me that.

For something that I bought simply because I thought it was funny, it's surprisingly decent. Light flavor, no real peattiness to speak of, but decently smooth.

I went in expecting rotgut and was pleasantly surprised.

I do like them neat, but a lot of those good old single malts are best with a little water; brings out the complexity of the flavors. I let the ice melt instead of putting water in it. Never more than two cubes.

Just finishing off a glass of Balvenie 14 Caribbean Cask at the moment. Outstanding.

I always drink single malts on the rocks, helps open them up a bit more. Glen 18 is my scotch of choice when I can afford it.

Wow, this is a great beer. Stone Enjoy by 12-26-14 Double IPA, aroma of peaches, strong crisp hop taste. 9.4 abv. Costco is selling it by the bottle...until it's gone. I'll be grabbing a case.

Old Forester was named after General Nathan Bedford Forrest. The second R got lost along the way. The story I was told (not easily found on the interweb) is that General Forrest as one of the founding members of the KKK. Back then it was a Southern gentleman's drinking club. More of a social group than what it turned into.

Regular is what I like! This one is married blend and a hint of apricot. I think It's good but not better than the reg or Diamond Peak.

It really is, but the waiting sucks. First batch of crown went 23 days and was amazing. Now im pushing 3 months on the second cask.....even better. Lots of oak and spice overtones. Even canadian mist and segrams, when aged, come out tasting like top shelf whiskey.
