As I write this we still don't know who the Governor is, but, do you think the Democraps have gotten the message yet? They had their asses handed to them during the Clinton years, and now it has happened again. Will they ever learn? And will the Repubs actually do something meaningful in these next two years? Inquiring minds want to know.

I don't like how they called a 1/2 percent lead with like 8 percent left to count.....
To all of the OP's stated questions: No.

Would you "get it?" The same things happens to the Republican party just as often as it happens to the Democractic party. Have you gotten it yet?

Fooling with our second amendment rights should be as Kryptonite to the Dems. They have been bitten twice.

...and how many times has "personhood" been on the ballot and soundly defeated? But it keeps turning up like a bad penny...

KaChing. DROP IT, FORGET IT AND NEVER USE IT AGAIN. Udall was beaten IMO because of the War on Women ads, at least it was one of the reasons.
Are you referring to former Senator Mark Uterus of Colorado?
So how long till future Senator Corey Gardner of Colorado sponsors legislation requiring all women to wear hijabs and have a male relative with them while in public? I'm pretty certain that was in one of the commercials I heard over the past few months.
So glad that is over and I will vote against the first candidate I hear an ad for in the next election.

And how many times did some progressive agenda item turn up on ballots and get defeated, only to eventually become mainstream and accepted? That's the way things get changed over time, like it or not. Hammer away at an issue.
ETA: I'm not defending the "personhood" thing...just saying that's how things often get done.

I agree, and by this logic, I don't think we've seen the last of the anti-GMO stuff... It'll be back. Let's just hope it continues to get defeated.
