My 300 BLK pistol is my favorite thing ever. Accurate 5744 with 150 grain @ 2000 fps is my load.

Just finished my first pistol build, now to build a 300blk shorty upper. What length barrel did you go with?

I am a little nervous about posting a pic of the the pistol w/ SB15 arm brace on an open forum.
Here is what I did: Surplus Ammo and Arms Pistol marked stripped lower and Palmetto Pistol Build kit along with the Radical Firearms 300 8.5" complete upper. I used a Palmetto M16 BCG w/ 158 carpenter steal bolt I had in my spare parts bin. I will post up results when I test it. I am at the Buffalo Creek Shooting area almost every weekend if you want to try it out sometime before you commit.

Have you used this load with the surplus M80 147s? ...which projectile do you use?
I am still trying to figure out what I want in terms of loads. I am going to try the Lucky13 polymer coated 123gr with 16.8 of IMR4227 (should keep the velocity down). If this load works, it keeps my cost down to $3.25 a box. I have five hundred Speer 125gr TNTs to try as well along with three pounds of H110. I haven't picked up any heavy bullets yet for subsonics, but I have four pounds of AA1680.
I have another 300 rifle build in process with the Mag Tactical lower and 16" barrel.

With good reason. ROFL
Why is everyone in this thread running supersonic rounds? Where this round shines (and what it was designed for) is in a short barrel, subsonic suppressed setup. If it wasn't for that use I doubt I would even have a 300BLK caliber setup.

I am stocking up on AA1680 and I will be working up subsonics. Although, I need to get my form 1 done for my suppressor. Until then, I am just going to have fun with the ammo that I can load cheaply.

I haven't done 147, but I'd be confident doing the load in that. I'm still burning through my batch of 150 grain M80, but have Hornady of the same style being loaded next. I don't anticipate much flight difference between the two.

I shoot supersonic rounds because I wanted something bigger than my 10mm 1911 with more power without being as big as a carbine. 5.56 is a crappy round for any purpose I wanted (powder burns fully in a 20" barrel), and I don't really shoot past 400-500 yards. I also have old standard capacity magazines for 5.56, which wont load 6.8, 6.5, etc. 300 Blackout in supersonic is an obvious choice.

I load supers cause I'm yet to buy a can. Maybe once I have a can I will start messing with subs.

To each their own. It's not like you build anything shady or questionable. In fact, if you go to Sig's website you will see they offer quite a few pistols from the factory with the brace already installed.
I posted a picture of my 300 pistol in the picture thread somewhere.
