As far as I can recall there was Ruby Ridge and Waco. Both of which, shots were fired after the attempt to serve.

Also, I am not aware that the ATF actually has M1 Abrams tanks.

If you are referring to the armor used during the 1993 WacoTX siege, they were from the Texas Army National Guard and brought into action after the failed service of a warrant. The actual "tanks" used to pump CS into the building were M-60 Combat Engineering Vehicles.
