Good on her.
Am curious as to the citizenship status of the perp, pre perforation.
A good shoot. :)
Of course they're not going to tell you that, and when they don't then you know.
Everything except the warning shot. If you need to pull the trigger, you don't need to warn them.
That is how it is supposed to work.

The hospital bill is a tax write-off!

He had to be on massive drugs. I can understand him not speaking english so he couldn't understand "stop I have a gun!" but then he keeps coming through the window after a universal-language warning shot? Not very bright.

I don't see an issue with a warning shot... as long as it's center mass.

Like all the hit and runs, I imagine most of them are noncitizens. Let them keep killing and raping.

Ammo too expensive and scarce to waste on warning shot, unless its to the body.

As a co-worker once told me "I don't care if Im in Zimbabwe and they are yelling at me in a completely incomprehensible language. If they have a gun, my hands go up and I don't do anything stupid."

Homeowner....WIN
As a co-worker once told me "I don't care if Im in Zimbabwe and they are yelling at me in a completely incomprehensible language. If they have a gun, my hands go up and I don't do anything stupid."
Right!? Isn't a gun pointed at you enough of a warning that perhaps you might want to stop what you're doing?
Breaking into the window of a house you do not own and where you do not know the owners.
Does this sound like a deep and thoughtful person who uses good judgment in making decisions?
Let me speculate and paint a scenario from the deceased criminal's perspective:
Lady has a gun pointed at me. She is jabbering about something. Bet it isn't loaded. BANG! Bet she doesn't have another round in the chamber. BANG! Damn, I'm falling out of the window. She shot me. I'm going to sue that puta! Damn, that's a lot of blood. Is it just me or is it getting darker out here. I'm feeling sleepy, and kinda dizzy. That hurt. Think I will just lay here for a bit and catch my breath. Look, a squirrel! FINIS
Don't let this morality play happen to you. Stay out of strange windows. Flip burgers. It doesn't pay as well as burglary, but it does have better longevity.
Be safe.

Another case of a career criminal being successfully rehabilitated through the High Velocity Inject-able Lead program. Very low recidivism rate.
