View Full Version : Dedicated city worker
Was working the DU area today and saw a parking enforcement Jeep. He was brushing off the VIN area, so I went around the block. Turns out he was parked on a street that forbids parking on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. FOR STREET SWEEPING. Rules are rules. If only every city worker was the dedicated.

Extended Thin Blue Line.
That's what happens when you give someone a tiny amount of authority who has absolutely no business having ANY authority.
But the signs say April- November... I had to lay out 150 bucks this year to the street nazis

Nothing is worse than militarized RTD fare checkers, with their cargo pants and their Glacks.

Doing their jobs...
Just got a notice this week from Denver parking enforcement saying I have an overdue and unpaid ticket that is now $50. All this after I sent an email to them with a parking pass given while working at the Fillmore that would excuse the ticket (which was placed on my dash). Now I have to take the ticket, permit and the email to traffic court on my day off next week... Nazis would be a step up for these folks.

Having worked in that capacity, what seems to be the issue with BDU pants? With all the BS we had to carry around they would have been nice back when I had to wear those ridiculous purple striped pants. Hey guess what? We came into contact with the same assholes (including armed criminals and gang bangers) the police had to deal with so that's why we were armed. With all the open carry advocates on this forum, why shouldn't those acting in a para law enforcement capacity also carry or do they not deserve to protect themselves?
