Hello to the Forum,
I am new to this site and new to Colorado. I recently moved here from California, yes I am liking the beautiful landscapes and the firearm freedom. I am looking forward to doing some 3 Gun events as well as Cowboy Action Shooting.
hope to meet some of you someday.

Welcome, lots of opportunity for shooting 3 gun and CAS, as to firearm freedom, sadly not near as much as just a few years ago.

Buffalobo,
Gun things are way better here than in Ca. In the first two weeks here, I purchased an AR lower, 15 minute wait instead of a 10 day wait, and I applied for a CCW which cost half of what it would in Ca if I could even get one.the availability of ammo and reloading supplies is way better here too. Now I just need to find places to launch projectiles down range. I will be checking out Blue Core in the AM.

Welcome!
I transplanted from San Diego 10 years ago. After living in a small(ish) town here, I don't even enjoy going back to visit.
I have owned guns here that I never even bothered to dream about in CA.

Spent most of my early life in Covina/West Covina are (LA County) got married and lived in Upland (San Bernardino County) for close to 18 years. Then moved to Orange County, Yorba Linda area for 7 years. I was offered a transfer to Co after coming here one week a month for the last year and a half.
So far everything is going great. Just miss having a local place to go shoot. I had access to 3 private ranges and the desert. I could shoot every weekend if I wanted to.
If anybody could point me to a legal place to shoot, out in the open, that is not too far from Wadsworth and Bowles, I would greatly appreciate it. My biggest fear is finding a great spot to shoot then being arrested for shooting in an illegal area. How do I go about finding a legal area? I never had to worry about this before.
Thanks for all the welcomes, this seems like a pretty cool place to hang out.
