I had been waiting for this replacement frame for over a year. I had gotten a chance to handle one of the dealer sample prototypes and was sold on the concept. My reasons for swapping frames were as follows.

This has been one of the few reliable semi auto setups that my wife can easily operate without changing up her grip to drop mags, lock the slide, and most importantly get to the trigger.

The beavertail is M&P size and completely prevents the Glock bite that would occasionally get my hand when I would get an over zealous grip.

The rail allows for a broader selection of white lights/ laser units to be attached to what is otherwise a standard Glock compact.

The grip texture and under-cut trigger guard fit the hand better and allow me to shoot faster and get a more comfortable thumbs forward grip.

The replacement back straps allow for 2 different style grips yet IMHO both are improvements over the standard Glock frame grip angle.

TimberWolf frames fits Gen. 1,2,& 3 Glock frames.

Needs a Gen. 4 Trigger housing to allow for the slimmer front to back grip dimensions.
and a proprietary mag release button.

MSRP is $199.99
This is the serialized part of the firearm and in Colorado the transfer is treated as if you were buying an AR-15 lower or any other Firearm.

Bowers either had a complete pistol, or a frame, can't remember.

Last I checked Bowers had one full size frame not spoken for, they were ordering more I believe.

So, my dumbass just posted a thread asking about these frames. Guess I should have looked a bit down the list of threads.

So, I'm a m&p guy, with no m&p anymore. I am thinking of going Glock 19 for my fiancé and I, for the 15 round mags, and ease of aftermarket part locating. I like the 1911 grip angle, and the m&p medium backstrap is made for my hand. How do you feel it compares?

The grip is as you described, it is however more of a rough texture than the M&P. If you want to shoot mine PM me.

I had my m&p stippled, so rougher texture isn't a bad thing in my eyes. Pm sent.

I have a G17 that is all lone wolf, frame, slide, barrel (threaded). It has more of the 1911 feel for a glock. Did have some issues with mags dropping free, I believe that was a known problem, just haven't had the time to send it back to get it adjusted.
