Just dropped a duck off at his place this week. He had a lot of mounts in his basement that I could check out and the work was awesome.

I cant wait to get my duck back.

Avoid Jonas Bros. At all cost. They used to be the best in the business but I wouldn't let them do a European mount any more, let alone anything that you want to like alive. I use a guy out of town, but a buddy of mine has used Wild Things Taxidermy in Brighton with outstanding results. His specialty is bird and the three pheasant and two ducks that he has done for my buddy have been awesome.

Almost alive taxidermy. About 70th and colorado. Just got my wood ducks back. Take a look in the duck hunting thread. Birds are his specialty and it shows.

20 years ago a co-worker showed me his mounts, all from Tanglewood Taxidermy. I've never used them and don't even know if they're still in business but the mounts at the time looked good to me.

Broken Arrow Taxidermy in Arvada has done 2 good looking elk shoulder mounts for me. Tyson is his name 303-421-2490. He was very reasonably priced too.
