SEC DEF resigns. This is kind of abrupt. He had my sympathies as he was a former enlisted man. Personally, I think we are on the brink of a major conflict.

I heard that you shouldn't send a Sargent to do a secretary's job. Want to bet they hire a female of color with zero military experience to take his place? I can't think of any other democrat that could possibly be qualified.

Hagel was an idiot. I respect the man as a combat veteran but his judgment on national security strategy has sucked at least since he was kowtowing to Clinton in the 90s.

EDIT: Having said that, I firmly believe he was torpedoed by Obama.

I saw a blurb on Friday that Obozo secretly signed a deal to up our commitment in 'Astan.
Hagel was the only Republican in Obozos cabinet.
