I don't have one but I am saving up for something from here:

http://www.xlrindustries.com/

They are out in Grand Junction, so I plan on stopping in the next time I'm out that way.

Were you looking for wood?

What kind of shooting do you plan to do? Is weight a concern? What's your budget?

I really don't want to spend more than $500 if I can avoid it. I don't want it to be too heavy. Mainly a setup for precision target shooting, but could possibly take it hunting in the future.

Hey big spender, those are some nice options. I think that is a little more than I am looking for. Thanks for the help.

KRG makes a great stock that runs just under $600. http://cprifle.com/collections/krg/products/krg-x-ray-chassis-rem-700

MDT also has a new Chassis out that seems pretty reasonable. http://cprifle.com/collections/mdt/products/mdt-lss-chassis-remington-700-short-action-black

Don't know if Tim sold this yet or not, but it's a good option for a great price

I love my XLR chassis and recommend one every chance I get . Are you wanting a stock or a chassis ? How serious do you want to get into precision shooting? Anything I would shoot for precision I wouldn't want to take hunting.

People willlaugh, but I got an Archangel adjustable and I like it.
Integrated bipod, adjustable cheek and LOP.
On a good day I get 1/3 MOA and (if I get my wind right) I gdet my first shot hits all the way to my max range of 550yds.http://i348.photobucket.com/albums/q358/bellavite1/firearms/IMG_20140504_133912_411_zps3odrmef_edit_1399345724 963_zpskwumvqmd.jpg (http://s348.photobucket.com/user/bellavite1/media/firearms/IMG_20140504_133912_411_zps3odrmef_edit_1399345724 963_zpskwumvqmd.jpg.html)

You know what they say.

If it's stupid but it works, then it's not stupid.

Bang for your buck, you can find a used HS-Precision police/5R or a B&C stock usually for a reasonable price. Above that, you can probably pick a HSP or B&C adjustable for around $500. A couple hundred more will get you into some decent options. Anymore than that you'll be looking at $1k+ with Manners, McMillan, various chassis systems, etc.

What kind of stock do you have now? Glass bedding / free floating isn't hard, and I think acraglas kits are still in the $35-$40 range...

Mcmillan is running a sale on stocks right now as well. $300-400 for a stock. I think they have to be on hand so you'll have to check Inventory.

I don't know how big of a hurry you are in but I would recommend going to a match and get behind some stocks. I don't know anyone who would not have any problem letting you get behind one. That way you can decide what works for you.

I've had very good luck picking up used HS Precision off of SnipersHide. You can generally find them for about $250-$300.
