My bad the $ FEE threw ya. They can only charge $10 for the BGC SO

$10 + $10 the BGC = $20 That is based on phone call friday evening with the firearms / gun dept. Give them a shout to verify.

I've done a few there and can confirm. $20 out the door.

That's a good deal.

I was charged $40 for a PPT this week at a shop in Lafayette.

I was charged $40 for a PPT this week at a shop in Lafayette. That would be the last time that place got my business. I know times are tough for many gun shops. I also know that said shops need to make something for their time. Maybe that shop is trying to price out PPT's so they don't have to deal with them... But, to take advantage of our bad situation this way will only force me to shop elsewhere.

I called Cabelas in Thornton a couple weeks ago about doing a private party trader and the guy working the gun desk said, "No." He told me to call Sportsman's Warehouse and that guy also said, "No."

Gander Mountain did it with a smile on their faces for $20.

Done a few at Gander in Aurora. It's taken about an hour each time. Once in the system the checks come back in about 5 or 10 min. They are just SLOW.

That's the MO for a lot of places who feel a FTF BGC doesn't do anything to stop gun violence. Unfortunately the politicians don't get that memo.

They want you to browse and buy something on impulse.
