Question for you Sig guys

So I've recently been looking at the P227 and I can't decide between the full size model and the carry model. I definitely want it for home defense and I will probably try to conceal carry as well. (I'm alright with carrying a full size handgun). But my question is about the differences. I mean, is the carry really that much easier to conceal with .5 inch shorter slide? Or does the 1.5 ounce weight difference matter that much? So do any of you Sig guys have experience with carry lengths vs full size sigs?

I believe the P229 is considered a mid size compared to the P226 (full) or the P227 (small). The differences are minimal IMO. The P250/P320 are completely different from other P series SIG pistols. I personally carry a P229 and don't consider it difficult to conceal.

I own and carry the P226 and P229, there is a definite difference when I grasp and draw, but not so much when either is in the holster.

The weight of a pistol doesn't concern me.
