Need to pick up some more mags. I know Apex was carrying them. Sorry CO friends. Not trying to rub it in.

Tom, thanks for the reminder.[Sarcasm2]
Talk about being on the wrong side of the fence, Trinidad vs Raton. ^^^^^

Again, not trying to rub it in, just showing my love for a cool rifle. The stupidest part is that I can order +15 mags from Apex Gun Parts and you guys can't. #$@!% politicians.
Yeah, Bob, maybe you need to relocate 20 miles south.

Tom, the sad thing is that I moved to Colorado from Illinois partially to escape the stupid gun laws along with their wonderful FOID (firearms owners identification card) and now Colorado has more restrictive gun laws than Illinois. Damn shame!

Not at all. SBR's, CCW issued in all countys, NFA items in general. Not to mention the cost of living in Ill annoyed
I had a D-Technik VZ58 imported by TGI for a while, a good, lightweight, reliable rifle.

Good rifle, just not a fan of an AK type platform with no parts interchangeability.

^^^ This, I've always wanted one because I like the design- but I'm all tooled up for AKs...
They're basically a proprietary version of an AK... now who's up for building one in 300BLK????
It actually looks like it could be a good platform for caliber conversion (since it was originally designed for the 7.62x45 cartridge, it can handle OAL to 2.4")
but practically nothing made for AKs will fit it, so not a lot of options to customize it.... and fitting mags for a caliber conversion may be very problematic.

Yeah, but at least Illinois does not forbid private transfers without FFL's having to be involved (yet). Don't know if IL has magazine limit (yet).

That is why I sold it.

Czech "Nah were straight we'll design our own completely different rifle...but make it better than yours"
