View Full Version : Be Aware. Protest planned for Parade of Lights
I don't know much about this. I just heard about it from a co-worker that was added to it or saw it on Facebook. Then I found this on Craigslist:

Again, I can't confirm any of this but if you're going down, have your head on a swivel.

So what. This is where, IF it actually happens. Those same cop bashing liberals, while enjoying the parade, will be dialing 911 faster than a starbucks drive thru.
What Is A Doula? The word ‘doula’ (pronounced ‘doo-la’) is a Greek word meaning ‘woman servant’. More recently, it refers to someone who offers emotional and physical support to a woman and her partner before, during and after childbirth. A doula (also known as a birth attendant) believes in ‘mothering the mother’, enabling a woman to have the most satisfying experience that she can, from pregnancy and into motherhood. This type of support allows the whole family to relax and enjoy the experience too.
Found her FB profile, sounds like a real winner: Anarchist, anti-cop, planning a violent protest... Hope she ends up in jail before anyone is hurt.

Here's a little more "credible" link.

They were strutting around with signs that said "black lives matter."
This was at the McDonald's at 16th and Broadway.

ALL LIVES MATTER. it's only a racial thing when BLACKS say it is. However a person, of any color wants to incite violence. Perhaps a setting less populated by liberals might receive a different reaction than what they have been getting. Want to protest, peacefully around here, great i'll probably be there cheering you on. Want to start smashing windows, torching cars, OOPS.

For once I'm glad I work the day shift. squeeze will be along to keep us informed of the shenanigans so that way I don't have to read the CADs in the morning.

What are they protesting?
The cop killer?
The dude that resisted arrest whom was a french fry away from death before the poor cops got to take the rap for his poor decisions?

Exactly. We aren't dealing with the brightest individuals here. It wasn't the cop that killed him, it was the fact that he was 400 lbs that killed him. Damn, now I'm reminded of a movie where someone badly overweight died and someone makes the comment that the apparent cause of death is false, the fact that the guy was massively obese is what killed him... Sure wish I could remember what movie it was.

Hmmm....sounds like Shawshank.

Nope, figured it out! Crimson Tide. After the fire in the galley scene, Captain Ramsey says something to the effect of "It wasn't the fire that killed him, it was his 400lbs that killed him." Hence, I can use the same logic here. Although, I'm not 100% convinced it wasn't positional asphyxia that led to this guy's death.

I believe that was Crimson Tide. "It was Merichek's 300 pounds that killed him, not the fire."

300, 400, same difference right? North of 290 is just plain huge, even for NFL linemen.

290 is probably 10 - 15 pounds below average for an NFL lineman at this point.
