iPhone and Note 3 synch of calendars?

Is it possible to synch the calendars of an iPhone and a Samsung Note 3 on one computer? Is it as simple as using Outlook (haven't used that in many years)?

My wife and I have rediculous schedules and it would be nice to just sych up instead of each of us manually inputing everything.

And no, neither of us is willing to switch from one device to the other, of course. [Bang]
