A North shoot and a South shoot every month, the South one is down here close to Woodland Park.

The North Shoot someone else will have to help you with, I've never been up to that spot.

From other posts it sounds like the areas that the club shoots are at are busy with other groups. How do you tell the co-ar15 group from the rest?

I'm thinking of heading up north this weekend. Maybe try to leave around 8 or 8:30. I don't mind meeting up somewhere if people want to caravan there. Convinent spot for a lot of people is the shopping center at I-25 & highway 7.

I'm planning on going to the north shoot this weekend. Does anybody want to meet nearby the range for breakfeast? I hate to drive 1.5 hours and not find this clandetine location across from the "Call Box".

I hate to drive 1.5 hours and not find this clandetine location across from the "Call Box".I've been up to the north site quite a few times, hard to miss the call box. The biggest problem I've had is it seems like I've been driving forever before I get there.

How about for anyone interesting following me up North show up at the Starbucks at I-25 & highway 7 around 8:30.


Since I'm seeing several new names posting in here, I just want to remind everyone to read the rules at http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4234 .

Remember to bring your own targets and target stands. Also not only plan on pack in - pack out, but try to grab trash from other less considerate shooters.

Head north on 67.. About a mile past Rainbow falls CG, there is a stopsign on the west side of 67.. Turn in there and go about 7-800 yrds up the dirt.. We should be there.. Look for the black COAR shirts,white Blazer and a Dog chasing a ball....

Looks like we get our Grandaughter tonight,so 9:45am would be just about right! North RV lot at Mcd's, green mountaineer or blue chevy truck with tool-box.see ya in the a.m.

Ok, I'm trying to meet up with everyone but I'm totally new to the area and don't know my way around. I was hoping to go to the North site tomorrow and would like to meet up with the guys going up around 9:45 but am not sure of where people are trying to meet before-hand.

Hopefully we can get it figured out before tomorrow morning. Otherwise, I'll hit the site up next week.

Get on 66 and just follow it until it ends in Lyons. make a left, and that will turn into 7.. Head west along 7 in about 15 -20 miles,(Sorry,been awhile) You see a yellow call box.. Don't worry if you miss it, If You get to where 7 and 72 intersect, turn around and go back on 7 about 200-250 yrds, You'll see it.

Good to meet you all. I wish I could have stayed longer...but have a bunch of "family" coming in next week and have to get some stuff done before then.
