Guess I'm a wierdo. I prefer the looks of symmetrical, well-matched antlers over the freakish "mutant" looking antlers. Not that it really matters, I don't see myself putting up any in my house anyway.

They call him "Buck Norris." I've never seen such a huge mule deer, and with such a gigantic rack. Apparently, he's got quite a following.

I have seen a few non-typical freak nasty muley's like this around Bend. And thought this might be Buck Norris. Kinda funny that he has a following.

True story I missed a buck just like this in Colorado! With my bow at 35 yards!!! Still haunts me... Didn't have the mass this one has but looks identical... I called him the brush pile buck for obvious reasons! Wasn't as wide as that guy either but was close. I'll never live that down

53973Only picture I have of him... Hard to see he's right on the fence line and that's taken through binos with my phone! So I know it's a crapy pic.. I have others somewhere where he was only 20 yards from my truck but it was at night so they need to be lightened up. Hunted him all season in 2010. Passed up the 3 bucks he traveled with on many occasions trying to get that guy. Guessing he's long dead by now but figured I would have seen pictures posted if someone got him.. But haven't seen them.. If anyone out east has pictures of bucks that look like the above I would like to see them :-)

This is Buck Norris he was a celebrity in downtown Bend Oregon, i knew hem well and spent a lot of time with him. This Big Boy just roamed the town at his own free will until last year when he was hit and killed by a truck on the road coming down off of Mt Washington, what a shame, i have tons of pictures of him and was with him when he shed this set of antlers, though i did not get them. this was a picture of him with his 2014 rack the next year he had a drop tang on the other side as well as more points total. Sure do miss this Icon, loved going and seeing him. I even have a picture of him laying on the lawn at the Nozler Bullet Factory i Bend.[BooHoo]

He is not as big you think or as he looks ?? He was very old and had a unusually small body which in turn made his horns look Huge..
