This guy...
HK the REAL plastic fantastic.
I'd like a VP9. Don't know if that makes me a fan or not.

What's a Glock?
Can't call myself a HK fanboy but sure lovin my VP9. My PPQ holds the top spot right now but the VP is a close second

Definitely an acquired taste. Good shooter, but a bit tough to get used to it. I remember when the US Park Police selected them when they transitioned out of revolvers.

You guys need a minute alone?
We probably would need more time than that...depending on how many magazines and ammunition we had to burn up.
No need to rush through some good shooting time. [Flower]

I only like HK long guns, not a fan of their pistols, so much.

Yeah, I bought an HK91 back in the early 90's before the ban. It was a very nice rifle. Definitely had the most positive extraction/ejection of any semi auto rifle I have ever seen.
I enjoy my .45 USP Compact Tactical. It did take some getting use to but was well worth it.
I may have been in possession of a few.. before that boating accident.

I have a VP70Z...it is the Mercedes of HiPoint!
Probably will add the VP9 to the rotation with the p2000sk for EDC soon.
I have a few of the USP's, both full size and compact. Triggers are a bit rough, I've installed match triggers on a few of them, makes a big difference.
What I really like is the simple dis/assembly, the fully supported chamber, and that they're virtually bomb-proof.
The prices on the squeeze-cockers have really gone nuts (un-intentional pun, but I'll take it). I tried one, didn't care for it, though I do understand why it's popular.
Long gun prices are silly as well.
Like my USP .40 Compact ... put a bunch 'o rounds through it ... really smoothed out. LEM makes a big difference on consistency between shots .

Like HK's a lot. Have owned PSP/P7, USPFs, USPCs, and my favorite, the P9S. Interested in getting another one, but the prices have gone nuts.

Currently have an HK45, P30L and am looking for a VP9. Had a P7M8 but I sucked with it.
Had a USP Tactical and loved it. The new VP9 has a really nice feel to it.
Another easy trigger upgrade is to swap out the factory original trigger spring with a 'light' or 'match' trigger spring. You really do need the special needle nose pliers for install.

I was mostly likely going to pick up a VP9 today. As luck would have it, as I entered the gun shop, a certain somebody from this thread was right in the middle of filling out the 4473 to take it home.
I took this as a sign that it wasn't meant for me to own one.
I take it as a sign that if your truck had a Hellcat motor, you would have gotten there first.

Lol. Nah. All the traffic stops along the way would really slow me down. [Awesom]
Although, perhaps if I didn't sit down for lunch on my way I would have got there about a half hour sooner.

I use this same logic quite often. It makes me feel better about myself for the first few hours, then I start getting pissed.

My first handgun was a USP9c, and I have been partial to them ever since. I never really got into the later models, like the P30. Just thought they were ugly. Wouldn't mind finding a P9S for less than the cost of a kidney, though.

And on an aside, I got thrown out of the HK booth at Shot Show 2007, ironically enough for 'heckling' the USC.
I like 'em all... Glock, HK, 1911, etc.

No, they told me they hate me and think I suck..... Their guns cost too much for my cheap ass anyway.
I miss my USP 45. Great fun and fun to shoot.
Funny or not, I owned a P30 V1 (LEM) for a few months, loved the ergos, didn't love the trigger much. Shot it in an IDPA match and missed the mag release twice... Sold it.

I guess...MP5k, 93, had a 94, 51,USP 45tactical,USP40, had a vp70, and also owned a p2000sk at one point...
I'm not a fan of their pistols, they never fit my grip the way I want. I love my MP5 and if I could bring my self to spring for one of their ARs I certainly would.

I used to have a wonderful P7, however weddings aren't cheap.
I was never a huge fan of polymer/striker-fired pistols (CZ BHP guy) but the VP9 caught my attention since it's fully ambidextrous, and my wife and I are southpaws. Found one with Trijicons, holster, and six magazines for $600. Took it to Silver Bullet a few weeks ago and I'd have to say I'm very impressed.
I'll be picking up a vp9 here shortly . Haven't seen any negative reviews on it yet.

I had a USP and traded it for a Glock, had a p2000 and sold it, but after handling a VP9 I might have to buy one, I wish they made a carry model but it's a nice grip.

Look into the p30sk
I've had so many HK's. I went through a phase a few years back. Had every USP and USPc model, p30, p30l, p2000, p2000sk, etc. Never really shot them well. Ended up selling all of them. Now that being said, I wouldn't mind a MK23.....

P30S 40S&W got me hooked. Now have 3 other HK's (VP9, HK45, USP 45) saving for a VP40

What holster do you use with you P30S? I want to find a duty holster, but the offerings for the "S" model are scarce. I think I might buy a safariland 6280 for a P30 and use a heat gun to make it fit the "S".
