That is a tough one. Guy pulls off the old "I have a gun in my pocket but really it's just my finger" and then you shoot his ass dead. His friends then claim he was unarmed and it is your word against the friends of the DOA. No way any news article goes with anything but "Conceal Carry Guy Shoots Unarmed Father of 7" when in fact it was a dead beat dad trying to rob you so he and his friends can go get stoned from one of the 50 weed shops within a block of that Burger King.

Good for him, that's why I always make sure I'm carrying when I do any meet.

I also make an effort to park in front of them so they can see all my gun stickers on the back of my truck and I like to have a 2nd gunman with me whenever possible.

Damn...this whole situation could have been avoided had the seller brought along a bunch of glock and magpul stickers. I'm sure a Tapout or an Affliction t-shirt would have helped...;)

Yeah, it's unfortunate these scumbags don't encounter folks who can and will hand their ass to them more often.

I love reading stories like this of someone taking out the trash because I know that's one less dirt bag around that will be able to take advantage of someone who isn't armed or otherwise capable of protecting themselves.

I'm really glad that this one didn't end up that way. Unfortunately, had he shot the scumbag, I'm sure the story would have been something along those lines. Kudos for having the control to not shoot the scumbag for the threat, but if he really did have a gun in his pocket, would it have been too late to do anything if he shot first? Tough decision to make on whether to shoot or not, and in this case the right decision was not to shoot and wait for the police to arrest him.
