Is it legal to carry at Broncos games? Based on my reading of the CRS, it should be legal. However, they can certainly ask me to leave if they find the weapon upon entry.
Anyone know more definitively?

there are metal detectors and pat downs like you're getting on a plane. check the stadium or the NFL policy. i can't imagine you can.

Lame.
If one were to be found with a weapon (with a proper CCW permit of course), would that be a criminal offense, or just be grounds for ejection from the game?

Didn't the taxpayers pay for the construction of that place? Should be able to.
Tax payers paid for the court house as well, not sure who pays makes any difference.

i don't think it's a matter of "if," unless you've got one of those porcelin glock 7's. but, i don't know if it's a criminal offense.

Your CCW permit wouldn't matter in this case. You aren't breaking any Laws and will probably be asked to leave the premises. If you refuse to leave, then you could be charged with trespassing. That's how I understand the Law and I'm not a Lawyer so take it with a grain of salt. Others are smarter then I am.
NFL = Very anti-gun
No guns at any NFL events.

They're probably afraid one of the players might get his hands on one and accidentally shoot himself again. [Coffee]
2015 is the year MLB is mandating metal detectors at all parks as well. Almost didn't renew my Rockies tickets, but I caved.

No guns. No back packs only clear plastic bags. Pat down, squish blankets, full metal wand.
I'd be more worried about the players bringing crap in.

NOT relevant if they have metal detectors in place...
also not relevant if it's owned by a corporation or a private entity (regardless of who funded it).
But state-owned buildings and parks cannot forbid CCW with a permit unless they ensure everyone is disarmed (as is the case at the courthouse)
Glad I don't support NFL, MLB or other sporting organizations that prefer their fans be unarmed SERFs...

Whether you can or can't legally Denver cops will not let you in with a gun. It's an argument you will lose. Besides, with all the crazy ass shit that goes on in that place (place is full of assclowns) I'll never go to another game anyway.

That is the sad truth. The DPD guys will be polite and tell you either go lock it up some place off the stadium grounds or don't come in. It's that simple. And +2 for the assclownery, the stadium seems to attract dickheads like flies on you know what.

I agree as well. I enjoy watching football, but between the costs of going to the game and all the douchebaggery there, I'll sit at home where the beers are much cheaper.
Yup, went to one game this year and decided it'll be my last. Not worth the time/money/effort it takes. Then, you have to deal with all the drunk idiots there. Last time, I got to hear an overweight 40-something year old talk about how he was going to beat some guy up for talking smack all game (he was wearing the other teams gear). I just shook my head and said never again would I support that type of environment.
Im much happier at home with cheap food prices and no bathroom lines.

This was news to me. Because Coors is already so efficient at getting the fans in. [Roll1] Not that I carried there (or CSprings Sky Sox), b/c I like to drink, but they aren't my team, I have mlb.tv and I'll spend the 4-5 games I'd have gone there supporting the farm club for my team in Springs. :)

IF the complete state government had flipped to "R", I would like to seen this problem addressed in this legislative session by
- making any facility that prohibits guns via full security check points must provide weapon secure storage at no cost, and assume full liability for criminal conduct inside their location.
or (preferred)
- removing the declaration that private business "open to the public" can prohibit concealed carry. Too bad, so sad for the NFL, MLB, NBA.
Might still have a chance that with the first one if the liability part was removed.

You would really agree with less rights for private businesses?

In this specific topic- Yes.
If your business is patronized by the public, like malls, movies theaters and stadiums, patrons with legally issued concealed carry permits should not be restricted. If your business in not open to the public, like the Locked Martin Campus, then no, the rule would not apply.
It's real simple- if you want to do business with the public, you get to do business with concealed carry permit holders.
And make cakes for gay weddings too right?

No. They are two different animals.
The carrying a concealed weapon into Mile High has NO impact or relationship to the product being sold- watching football.
The baking of a cake for a gay couple is directly related to the product being sold- a cake.
It would be REASONABLE for a tailor to refuse fitting of pants involving a IWB holster/gun because that is directly related to their product. It would be UNREASONABLE for them to not allow a ccw permit holder into the shop to look at ties where the weapon is not involved at all.
The bronco's don't want or need your money if you are legally CCW. You make the choice and decide if you violate your own personal beliefs or to pay your money to someone that disrespects your beliefs.
