View Full Version : glock 27 9mm conversion
has anyone done one of these? i ordered a lonewolf 9mm conversion barrel and a 26 mag. i read some peoples feedback was that they shot over 500+ rounds with no failure with the .40 extractor. some say that they recommend the 9mm extractor for serious defense use. any one have hands on experience with this conversion?
It's nice to go plinkin with and I know of one that hasn't had a single issue at all (or so my old man says) but since there are some minor differences between a few parts from one to the other I wouldn't count on it to save my life. The eggheads at Glock must have had some sort of reason to build them differently.

I have the Lonewolf conversion barrel for my 22, I keep it in 40 for carry or anything else.
But at the range, about 30 seconds to switch out and stick in a few 33 rd mags, saves alot of money- it's a great option to have.

i have one coming in tomorrow. i might put it up for sale or just return it. i was thinking of a permanent conversion.

would probably be better off trading the 27 for a 26, or selling it as a package deal with the 9mm kit, and buying a 26 and some night sites...
