I need a console cable and a USB adapter (my laptop doesn't have serial ports), anyone know of a local place in the Denver area or up north that sells them?

Micro Center has the best selection and most times prices for all your computer needs.

That console cable may be tricky to find. Didn't get any hits when I searched MicroCenter.

Microcenter definitely has the USB to serial adapter. I've picked up a few there.

What kind of console cable do you need? Serial on both ends?

Should be rj45, for a 2950 switch.

Yeah, just googled it, you are correct, RJ45<->DB9. I don't get back to work until the 5th but I have a shit ton of them there and would mail you one. Shoot me a PM if you aren't able to get a hold of one by then.

I have some cisco console cables buried here and there at the house, but appear to be on the wrong end of town.

rj45 rollover and a DB9 DTE adapter should work too if I recall.
