I have a Nazi marked 1944 Hi Power & P38. Both all matching. A 1917 Colt 1911 with original holster. Looking to find out values & more info on them. Might sell or trade them.

I saw your advert on Armslist. I looked into values for your guns and it is all over the place. Without an inspection it is kind of hard to tell.
Is the 1911 a military model or civilian market model and is it all original? Values range from about $400 if not all original to upwards of $1200 if original and still functional, if the holster can be for sure verified (good luck) as issued with the gun add another $150 +/- on condition.
The Browning if original and not refinished is from $550 to $1000 +, again an inspection needs to be performed.
The P38 would run from around $350 to $600, condition, condition, condition.

All that being said, if I had anything to offer up as trade, I would be looking at the 1911 to go with my M1917 Eddystone. But, such is life.

I've got no good info for you other than if the German ones are true "bring backs" with no import marks and still have solid nazi markings on them they could fetch pretty good money. They would be worth more in original condition than if they have been refinished at some point.

First thing to check on the Kraut items. Make sure the SN's match on all components, a whole lot of bringbacks are mismatched.
This is from them being turned in and "demilled" so they could be brought back. Armorers pulled them apart, demilled them (I have seen cut firing pins, missing firing pins) and slapped them back together paying no mind to matching the components. If they are matching, bonus but if mismatched it hurts the value substantially.
The same can be said for the 1911 but their mismatches are the result of being reworked in armories, usually a few times in their service life.

That looks like one nice hi power. P38''s seem to be all over the place price wise.

Thanks guys, I know just enough to get in trouble. All the main parts match, I'll try to get to it this week and see what else I can find. I've seen a lot that have import marks on the P38s, this one does not. Prices are allllll over on guns like these, Colt is US Army

Would be fun to shoot at least one USPSA match with each pistol.
