Beware of an Adobe Flash upgrade for tablets and phones. Got hit this a.m. and it locks up your tablet so you can't use it. Had to deregister the Kindle and start from scratch with it. The scam is supposedly an FBI generated program (not).

My advice is to never upgrade flash unless it quits working ... and then you manually go directly to Adobe's site and download it.
Have had to fix 3 computers so far infected with malware by fake flash updates.

Adobe products are a leading reason for many of the security issues on the Internet. Meaning... Not just Flash.

The main reason why it is not on iOS products and does not ship installed on Macs. Flash is a buggy, virus carrying, resource hog that needs to die.

it's not just Apple- Android doesn't support flash anymore either... there are ways to get it, but they're all pushing for the industry to move to HTML5 instead

I agree with the direct download though I've never had an issue with falsified flash updates. Not updating flash isn't good though. Generally you want to patch up the holes in it, even if that means new ones sometimes get opened.
