There's a place up in the hills that my Navy buddy is taking us shooting tomorrow that he keeps calling "Pickle Gulch". I did a search on here to see what kind of a spot it was and nothing came up. I'm sure it's a well known spot but it must be called something else...
Anyways. If anybody knows the place I'm talking about...anybody been up there recently? Is it accessible by my Explorer am I running a good chance of getting stuck?

I've been partially up the trail in my Amigo and it was fine. Really just steep at parts, but I haven't been up very far. It's steep enough that it would be sketchy in the snow. Hope the link gives you more info.
GilpinGuy may chime in with more info but there have been a lot of closures in that area. Missouri Gulch, next to Pickle Gulch, has been closed.
Access may be tricky because of snow and ice.
