Hey my hood isn't on the list! Pueblo certainly doesn't surprise me, it's been "up there" for years and gets worse and worse every year. My brother thought he was going to have a CCW incident there a couple months ago due to a drunk Sureno demanding money. Fortunately once my brothers tone changed, I think his sheer size was enough of a deterrent.
I don't think most of those pictures are from the towns they are supposed to represent.
I find it funny that the pic for Lakewood has my office buildings in it. The three up against the left border of the shot are them.

VAIL IS #9?
The Federal Heights picture looks like you are most likely to get hit by a car, and I think they must have zoomed in the background of the Sheridan picture about 150 miles.
I lived in pueblo for 2 Yeats and that doesn't surprise me at all.
How is it that Akron isn't on this list? [Sarcasm2]

Not surprised by the list at all. Feel like The Springs would be higher being as close to pueblo and getting all their overflow BS
The Sherdian picture is actually Telluride.
Fail.
We didn't make the list, however we are one of the top places to dump a body,,,

This is retarded. I hate lists like this. Incomplete data, no research done (pictures don't even match up... wtf?) obviously written by someone with no business writing such a piece. It was simply published to generate hits and make ad money.

Yeah Pueblo is like Afghanistan...
We are probably the top town for people who was to attempt "die-by-cop".
I'd guess 70% of what goes on in Ned. is never reported.
And Alma was the murder capital of the US for awhile. (per capita)
But as we all know most of Colorado has no paved roads and no outside communication so who knows if these stats are anywhere near factual.

Evans/Greeley didn't make it? I'm ashamed.

Just remember, according to Bloomberg and the mass media, Colorado Springs doesn't even have roads...
I would have thought Greeley and Evans would have been on there as well.

Greeley is good at hiding stats, evidently better then I thought. Just look at the last week and then wonder what didn't make the news.
Surprised Divide didn't make the list.....

The real criminals are in the capitol building. They "work" there!
Yeah the picture of Sheridan made me laugh.
I can't believe vail is on there. Guess even the rich people like to get violent and steal some shit!

That was my thought too. I bet they have tons of petty theft.

The Federal Heights picture looks like you are most likely to get hit by a car,
And it's not even close to FH. The highway intersection pictured is I25 at 70th/Hwy 224 looking south from the top of the hill before 84th.
The building/yard at the lower left hand is the CDOT facility I worked out of for 16 years.
Another journalistic fail!

Very interesting.. good post
At this time the FBI uniform crime report is the best for tracking crimes eventhough it falls a year or so behind. I can imagine things have changed since the data was collected, though I'm not surprised by the order going by the collected info time frame.
Considering the "article" is from a business and not a "journalistic outlet" the wrong pictures don't surprise me. Obviously we all know of plenty of "journalistic outlets" that fuck things up too LOL.
