Meh? I think I'll pass (especially at that price). Big, bulky, not practical to carry. It only replaces 2 standard capacity ($12) mags that easily fit into pouches etc. Don't see the benefit vs cost here.

That's more than my surefire quad stack 60 rd mag, and the surefire fits in a double mag pouch for easy carry. Maybe better feeding. Guess wait and see where street price ends up.

Meh, it eliminates one mag change but 2 standard capacity magazines are much easier to carry. Besides, we can't buy them here anyway thanks to our Dingbat Dems.

Great product. Just the price does not justify owning one even if we don't have that dumb law.

My new business plan

Step 1- Buy a bunch of these and sell by the road on Raton Pass.

Step 2- Get banned because I advertise this on the forum

Step 3- Profit!!!!

Just kidding Mods. [mop]

Agreed. I picked up a couple of the 40 pmags, they are alright but truthfully, unless you are into wasting a bunch of ammo into the berm ( I am not) what's the use. Bigger mags make it a pain to shoot off the bench or prone, are morelikely to snag on gear, and upset the balance of the weapon. Tactical/ combat situations aside, (ie. the need to lay down alot of lead) there seems to be alot of moving parts to fail when you need it to work. I also wonder if these will require the special lubrication that the beta mags need. Personally, I'll just practice my reloads.

Of course, if anyone wants to own one, they should have the right to do so.

Badass, but $130? Yikes.

$130 is quite reasonable compared to the cost of drum and quad-stack magazines from other companies.

Heck, betas are like $300, and require you to replace the feed tower regularly.

Can't help but wish it was more like a 75. Thought they had a 60 round 7.62 drum that was pretty reliable? (Or was that only 40 or so?)

Still wish I had gotten around to one of the newer 50 round glock drums for fun that apparently worked well. (Hello 9mm carbines that take GlocK!)
