The weather looks great tomorrow, so come on out and shoot the 3Gun match at CRC.

For the February 7 match, you will need to be able to load a minimum of 12 rounds of shotgun in a stage. You will need FIVE rifle magazines of at least 5 rounds capacity. You will need at least 3 pistol magazines.

I will have a loaner Rifle and Shotgun if anyone needs to borrow. Just bring factory ammo. I will also have some mags on the stage where you need 5 rifle mags just in case.

Stage 1 will be 3 strings, shotgun (12) and pistol (10).

Stage 2 will be about a 40 round 3gun course.

Stage 3 will be about a 30 round 3Gun course.

Stage 4 will be a 21 round rifle course.

Hope you all enjoyed the warm day at the range and that the technically challenging stages helped knock off some winter rust. :)

May 2 we will have a normal Multi-Gun match. $20, 5 stages, set up at 8am and shooters meeting at 9:30, or when the stages are built.

The 100 yard berm will have a stage gun (AR-15) for which you will have to provide factory .223 ammo. No steel core of course. It will be a pretty fast stage and the stage rifle has some pretty cool parts on it. 25 required rounds (I'd bring 30).

The other 4 stages will require about 75 rounds of rifle, 75 rounds of pistol, 50 rounds of birdshot and 8 slugs. We will use the 200 yard berm as well.

The June match is the MEGA stage match which requires pre-registration and I will be accepting entries starting May 2 ($50 entry)

Intro to 3Gun course offered on May 2 from 1-5.

June 6th is the MEGA stage match at Colorado Rifle Club. $50 entry, cash payback and random draw prizes for those who do not win cash. Time out will be 8 minutes. Tac-Ops gear plus a precision rifle if you want. Pre-registration is required and it is limited to 40 paid entries. I need 3 to 4 people to help me set up on Friday, shoot for free.

The MEGA stage is like shooting a 6 stage monthly match, all at once with a 8 minute time-out. It is not for everyone, but it is a heck of a lot of fun. 75 rounds of pistol, 75 rounds of Carbine, 40 rounds of birdshot and 12 precision targets. Stage breif at 8am on June 6. We should be done shooting by 1pm, awards and burgers at 2pm.

Mark, did anything firm up on 3Gun classes before the match dates?

James Casanova and I are teaching the full 3Gun class this month. Sunday the 17th in the afternoon, 1-5, is the intro course. Shotgun is 10-4 on Monday the 18th and Rifle is 10-4 on Tuesday the 19th. We have a few spots open. Take one, 2 or all three. We cover it all so don't miss this opportunity to train with two of the best 3Gun instructors in the country.

We will have a normal Multi-Gun match on July 4th at CRC. If I can get 4 or 5 people to help set up on Friday the 3rd starting at noon, they can shoot the match for free on the 3rd, AND we will then start at 8am on the 4th to get you out of there as early as possible for family fun on the afternoon of the 4th. I will do a formal match announce on July 1, but I wanted to give people enough notice for their family plans as well.

Going to set the stages so that you can shoot the entire match with a pistol or a PCC if that is of interest to anyone who dislikes shotgun and or Rifle.

I also have a few projects for the Noveske match that I need help on. If you belong to CRC, it will count towards your workbond and I will give some free match coupons for work as well. I need a few more walls painted and skinned, I need an outhouse built and I need two tunnels built. If you want to do any of these, let me know and I will get you details.

We will have a normal Multi-Gun match on July 4th at CRC.

Shooters meeting at 7:30, shoot at 8am. I have enough people to set-up Friday afternoon giving us the early start. :) We should be done around noon so you can get home to Celebrate the 4th with friends and family.

4 stages, $20. No target past 45 yards, so if you want to shoot a PCC or pistol for the entire match, you can with a round count of about 160 rounds. For 3Guns, plan on 25 birdshot and 15 slugs OR buckshot (I'd bring both and make your choice). 60 pistol and 60 rifle.

There are only 5 slots left for Noveske.
