Looking to add a set backup sights to a new AR. It's got a TRS-25 (with the tall riser). Was planning just to add a set of MBUS, but the front sight will be mounted on the gas block (gas block is the same height as the upper). I see magpul says not to mount the polymer mbus on a gas block.
So are there any other similar priced flip up front sights that would be ok on the gas block? Or should just get a fixed sight that attaches to the gas block?

Buy the gas block flip front sight from MI or other co. YHM makes one, or go with one of the metal flip front sights for railed gas block. Brownells and other AR acc vendors are your friend
