Winchester 1300 carrier assy help needed

Sorry, it's a 1200 not a 1300. I have a Win 1200 that developed an issue today. The carrier assembly, the piece of metal that guides the shells from the tube to the chamber, will jam in the up position and lock the action open. The only way to clear the jam is pull the trigger group. It looks like the carrier ramp will travel up too far and lock the action.

I pulled the trigger group and that reset the carrier assembly but after racking the slide, without ammo, it carrier jams in the up position again. I cleaned the inside of the receiver, the pump arms are smooth, no binding. I did not disassemble the trigger group but shot it with CLP and compressed air and it continues to jam. I did a Google search but I'm not finding much. I've stared at it all evening tonight but nothing jumps out at me.

If anyone had any insight on how to repair this I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts. Sorry, it's a 1200 not a 1300.

Compared pics online and got it figured out. A bar on the tail end of the carrier wrapped around the dog in sort of an "L" shape. Looked like it was supposed to be that way but actually it should not wrap around but directly butt up against the face of the dog. So just a little tweak and all is well and it's smooth as can be.

I'm glad you figured it out I went to the safe this morning and dug out my 1200. I looked at mine and could not figure out what was happening to yours. I was going to ask you for pics. Great guns I got mine as a birthday present in 1971, won't give it up even with a number of others this one will stay.

Only thing I don't like about the gun is no 3" or steel shot.

This shows an arm from the carrier assy that somehow became misaligned. It should butt up against the carrier dog (is that the correct term?) The hammer has been dropped and is forward in the pic.
The arm from the carrier slipped to the left hand side of the dog and occasionally made cycling rough and eventually would not allow the carrier to drop and jam up the gun. I had to pull the trigger group to reset it. The carrier arm should have had a bigger contact surface on it to prevent it from sliding off to the side of the dog. It's only happened once however but it made for a miserable day.
