Why do you think it's about race? BTW, the civil war happened a few years before MLK was around... [facepalm]
Back in Virginia, the official holiday used to be Lee-Jackson-King day. They separated them into Lee-Jackson day and the federal MLK day since I moved from there.

Happy Confederate Hero's Day![Party1]
Juneteenth (June 19) is when TX celebrates the freeing of the slaves.

Yeah, and TX adopted the holiday before MLK Day was made a holiday, but I think that MLK's work is more important to the US than these guys. And Texas wasn't even involved in the Civil War. Not even a part of the US at the time.

History is hard for some.
If you're really interested in the facts, and not what you've maybe heard somewhere, try Googling "Texas Civil War" - heck, even Wikipedia has some insight if you're in a hurry.

Maybe a new title is on it's way for Ridge? Something like "My second job is a historian"

I could see him being on Pawn Stars. "Do you mind if I call a buddy of mine? He knows a lot about stuff like this."

Quoted for additional hilarity. I think you're thinking too much about the dirty things you want to do to the pony doll.
