Just was reading this. According to the Firearms Blog. Colt will be producing new production 1903 pocket pistols.

This excites me for some strange reason. I guess I'll be getting one and retire grandad's old one to "Just fer looking at" status.
Pretty cool, but how much $$ is the question.

Very true, so very true.
I hope the new ones are as nice as the originals. After seeing this I had to dig my refinished 1925 shooter out of the safe. I'm not convinced there has been enough advancements in 32ACP ammo to make it a true defensive carry piece but they are fun shooters. Can't wait to see a new one.

The new ones in 9mm and not in .32ACP I believe. Though I could be wrong as I have only skimmed over any references to this pistol.
With 2,500 being made I doubt I'll ever even see one. Much less own one.

I would be surprised if a new 1903 was in 9mm since the original was only a 32 and the 380 was the 1908 model. The 1903 in 32 and the 1908 in 380 were both issued to the military. I think that since the military marked guns are coveted they want to capitalize, hence the limited production. The article is somewhat confusing because it starts out saying new 1903 and then says the new 1908 will be marked like the military guns. I would imagine they would start with 2500 of the 1903's first because of the less desirable caliber and then move on to the 1908 and offer them in larger quantities.

The new production Colt 1903 pocket auto was on display in Colt's booth at the Shot Show.
The first ones will be parkerized.
There are more Colt "retro" guns coming along this year.
I really like the M1918 BAR that was also on display in Colt's booth.

So very excited at the new "old" offerings. Haven't heard about the M1918, any ideas if it it entirely Colt or outsourced work. (Like OOH?)

I would like one but, as stated, the price will probably be prohibitive for a working man. Too bad. For me anyway.

I wish someone would produce a supersized version in .45acp. Caspian had a one off at SHOT show last year and hot damn.

Ohio Ordnance Works had one of their people in Colts booth to answer questions about the M1918 BAR.
There was also a manufacturers rep to answer questions about the Bulldog gatling gun that was set up near the BAR.

Got a GunsAmerica shot show email I just now read. Says the MSRP of the base model will be $1395.

I have my father in law's old 1908. It shoots pretty well, but the sights are very tiny and the safety has no detents, so it can inadvertently be slid on or off.
Nice idea, but too expensive. You can still get a nice original for much less $. Bill
