If any of you have access to Alldata or factory Dodge service info, I could use a favor.

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab.

Looking for for the wiring schematic/diagram for the drivers seat belt buckle.

I'm tired of this thing beeping at me every two seconds all the damn time when I don't wear my seat belt. I had a Ford that did the same thing and all I had to do was unplug the connector coming off the buckle to fool it into thinking it was buckled all of the time. Gave that a quick try on the Dodge and either I got the wrong connector or there are more than two wires in it or whatever. The airbag light stayed on. Lol.

I just need a schematic so I can know what circuit I need to open or close to fool the thing.

Thanks.

Circumventing the safety restraint system? Who are you to buck the system that SAVES LIVES, Ray? Look, people lobbied and bitched and complained for the Guberment to mandate your safety, and make it a total pain in the ass when you don't conform and fall in line, like you're supposed to.

I cut the belt off a crashed car and took the male part of the buckle......click that in, and, DING DING DING is no longer a part of your life.

:D

Just to be clear, I'm not circumventing the safety system. I'm simply circumventing the warning system for the safety system. [Coffee]

subdiffusion (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=subdiffusion&defid=720457)
to diffuse emphasis on a subject at hand by implementing a distraction mechanism.
sub (meaning below)referring to the fact that the act of diffusing should flow below the level of conscientiousness of the other persons. (they don't know ya doin it)

Awesome....for the win.

Thanks for the link. I'll try it and see what happens. Have some errands to run in a little while. I'll do it right before I leave and see what happens.

If all else fails, maybe try ripping the beeper out if it's accessible.

Cop solution: Buckle the belt, then get in the car.

I've disabled my 2004.5 and friend's 2008 using the key method.

Worked perfect. Just as described. No more annoying binging.

I owe you one.
