Someone may want to post a reply (I will not) that children (under age 18) who die from accidental gun shot wounds are a small percentage of the eight children who die from gunshots each day. In fact, almost half of those 8 deaths each day are 18 and 19 year olds. Many of the 15 to 18 year olds killed in gun deaths are crimes committed by other 15 to 19 year olds.

Why do people marry with SO's with such differing opinions on what I consider to be very important issues? I mean seriously, do ya'll not sit down and discuss the important issues within the first few dates? I don't mean any disrespect OP, but this is a topic that has always boggled my mind.

Example on my end: A few months prior to meeting my wife, I met a beautiful young woman (don't tell my wife, but far and away the most beautiful woman I'd ever dated). Not only was she beautiful, but she was very classy and great to be around, sounds about perfect right? Wrong! She actually worked for the Democratic party, and while she claimed she was pro 2a, I could never see a future with someone of such differing beliefs (on other issues). Again, no disrespect OP.

According to WISQARs, in 2013, 2465 Americans between the ages of 0 and 19 died from gun violence, including suicide, accidents and homicide, which works out to about 6.75 per day. If we take out the 18 and 19 year olds, that number drops to 1258, which means children are dying at the rate of about 3 per day due to gun violence. I rate this claim Bald Face Lie.
