Slide stuck need some advice..

Was out shooting today with my friend everything was going good my new Stag arms ar15 was working flawlessly not one jam nothing. My buddy asked he if could shoot my Beretta fs96 (He shot it 2 times before so i thought he knew the gun.) Next thing i know he shows me the gun and the slide wouldn't move. He said when he tried to rack one in it jammed so he pulled it back again so it probably pulled a second bullet would be my guess..... and now my gun is totally jammed with at least 1 live round in it.... I've tried pulling it back but am scared that it may go off which would be bad. Any suggestions? Am I going to have to take this to a smith? Who should I take it to that wouldn't want my left arm and right leg?

Well if you do go somewhare to have a smith un-jam it, CST in Lakewood would be cheap if not free. Someone here can probably help you though.

just pull it out or knock it out. wear gloves and safety glasses.

Get some leather gloves. In a safe place, pointed in a safe direction use as much muscle as needed. It will move.

You can try this method (it assumes you're right handed):

Safety on
Gun pointed in safe direction
Remove magazine (if possible)
Hold the slide FIRMLY in your left hand (a thin leather glove might help but it's not needed). The heel of your left hand should be on the left side of the rear of the slide with your fingers wrapped around the top. Just like you were going to rack the slide.
Use your strong hand to SMACK the back of grip very hard. Withdraw your right hand about 12 to 18 inches from the rear of the grip and forcefully shove it forward, grabbing the grip of the gun while maintaining the firm grip over the slide with your left hand.
It might take two or three attempts but that usually works.Just make sure you hold on tight to the gun!

Thanks worked on the third try no bang. :D Only found one bullet that was seemed to be ok... i wonder what happened that jammed it up like that...

I wonder if the ammo has a little bit of a long OAL. I ran into that with with kel-tec in 9mm
