Gotta admit, it's a bit ironic posting about an internet outage on a website :P (I'm guessing smartphone or something?)

There's no "alert" for outages? WTF?

If you didn't notice, they'd probably prefer to keep it that way. [Coffee]
Mine was down this morning in englewood.. started last night having issues.

They knew about it before you knew about it. That was fast.

That reminds me of when I was in Korea at a small geographically separated unit. We had to dial in to Osan to get Internet access and it frequently had interruptions. The interruptions usually went away after a couple hours and we were able to do general web-surfing (as opposed to getting our official email) via the Army's link.
One such interruption went on over a day so I called up to Osan to see if we could get someone on it but the airman over the phone told me, "oh, it's not a technical issue, we cut it off because of a virus that looks like it originated on your end."
I asked when they had intended to notify us of that situation, to which the airman replied, "we sent you an email about it." After counting to 10 slowly, I proceeded to ask the airman if he saw anything wrong with the idea of sending us an email to tell us our email access had been cut off. I think this may have been the same numbnuts who later told me he didn't see my name on the list of people authorized to alter Internet access and then was struck dumb when I asked him to look further down on the list and see who signed the letter.
