According to the man on the cell phone, HE was targeted but I don't think the video reflects that.
Meh, get over it. Back when the broncos won the Super Bowl in 98 my brother and I went up to denver to check out the celebration.
We both got hit for no reason in the face. Man that burned!! Luckily we both had our big girl panties on and Got the F over it. After a few hours we could finally drive back home.
That short little dyke-cop really got a hardon from that can o' spray! But what about that older woman that caught a full-on blast in the face? SHE'S the one who should be suing.

I think the female officer got confused and pulled the OC can out when she was really reaching for the "Can'O Whoop Ass", easy made mistake because they do look similar. [Coffee]

She was sprayin' that stuff around like it was free. Maybe I should sue since I had to get sprayed in order to carry it. Fuckin' get over it. He barely got a dose as it is.
Everyone needs to re-read the headline.
...SEATTLE TEACHER SUES...
Does anyone not recognize this as nothing more than a Liberal attack on the police (whether the police were right or not)?
Agenda, people, Agenda.

Hahahahaha seriously. I would have been laughing so hard had I seen that in person.
He's suing for that?
On another note, why is that lady spraying at all?

he felt he was targeted? Hmmmm... I don't see that in the video.
he felt he was targeted?
It's America: he likely didn't feel targeted but felt he could sue and get some easy $$$. There's an occupation to thank for this mindset but they get all testy when blame is accurately placed.

Because that is basic crowd control 101, when the crowd is notified that they are an unlawful assembly and then becomes unruly, simply put - distance is your friend, create some distance.
Looked like a bunch of pedestrians to me, but the video was pretty short.

The ones she sprayed sure did, and it seemed to me that the over-anxious twattwaffle was the only cop that was all bent out of shape. And the protesters (during that very short clip) didn't look all that unruly. To me, it looked like the only one that wasn't in complete control of themselves was THAT single cop.
Do I think this dude is owed anything, maybe an apology from THAT specific officer, but other than that, no. But that cop should be facing some hard questions either way, simply put, she obviously doesn't handle herself well in stressful situations.
I knew a cop back home that practically came unplugged at the scene of a fatal accident (and no, he didn't know the victim) but when the Paramedic has to threaten to call the office, so he'd go sit in his car and calm the hell down, there's a problem, and maybe that person shouldn't be in a profession that is essentially geared around handling intense and stressful situations, while carrying a firearm. Same goes for this officer IMO

+1. Granted we only see 15 seconds out of who knows how long, but it did seem a bit strange to just start up towards a guy who's not even advancing on her.
What's funny to me is that you can see the spray drift back into the officers. It appears to be a case of total incompetence on her part. I wonder what it feels like to be a colleague to someone like that. Embarrassing
