A Navy SEAL who shattered the elite special force's code of brotherhood by stealing from his brethren to finance his luxurious lifestyle and gambling faces up to 12 years in prison, not to mention the scorn of men who served with him but now consider him “the most repugnant scum on Earth.”

Almost nothing worse for morale than a barracks thief. I don't know how someone gets into a group like that and doesn't understand the concept of "brotherhood".

Times are a changin'... and not for the better. How a man, even more so a SEAL, can not have the fortitude/intelligence/character to understand absolute right vs wrong...

assholes are assholes no matter what... It doesn't matter what they've accomplished.

I'm guessing his life expectancy after leaving prison will best be measured in hours. SEALs will complete the job in their standard, efficient fashion, leaving behind no evidence.

Becoming a seal requires you to be tough. It doesn't require you to be "good".

Don't ever trust that someone is "good" or "bad" simply because of their job title....

No but when you have bonded and been trained to trust a man with your life, it's natural to think you can trust him with $10,000 or $100,000. I can certainly understand why his fellow SEALs felt they should be able to trust him.

Aren't they SEALs? I saw Rambo take on an entire police force all by himself

SEVERAL police forces - crooked sheriff called in the state boys and NG.
