View Full Version : Glock G40 10mm 6" barrel price?
Has anybody heard any prices yet on the Glock G40, or if it is going to be available in blue label? I'm getting frustrated, even the dealer that I ordered the G40 from does not know what the sales price is or if he can sell as blue label. He called the district rep when I was there today and he doesn't even know. The other Glocks with 6" barrels the G24 and G17L are both models that are not available in blue label pricing. Just seems odd that the gun is officially introduced and yet no Glock dealers know anything about pricing.

As you can see the responses to this are what I was thinking, nobody knows. If I hear something I will let everybody know.

The $840 price is the new MOS model. I didn't see a plain G40.
I have heard that the G40 will only be offered with the MOS slide notch. However, I am confused as to the G40 coming with or without an optic already mounted for $840. If I had to guess I would say $840 is with just a slide notch cover and no optic. I have also heard that on other models that will be available with the MOS slide as an option, it will only be an additional $30 more than the standard slide models.

No optic at $840. And I have "heard" it will not be available at Blue label pricing. But a few of my contacts say they have not heard either way. So who knows.
I found a little more info today. The optic is not a Glock product, the MOS plates come in different configuration to accommodate the many models of optics on the market. I have heard from two sources that the G40 will be offered in blue label and one of those sources said the LE price is $559. I found a civilian web site that had none in stock but posted a price of $679. Have not found anyone with one in stock yet.

Yesterday, the Glock rep still did not know when to expect them. WTF
Well my G40 finally got here today, I will say I was getting jealous when you other guys were getting yours and I was still waiting. I wish they would have been able to use the narrow slide like the one on the G41, but it is the same width as the G20 so not a big deal. The blue label price is as previously mentioned $558.50 with 3 mags, the back straps and four MOS plates to mount optics.
It sure has been a strange ride. Glock introduces the G40 at Shot Show in January and didn't even mention the G43. Now it's September and I already have my G43 and they just finally release the G40.
Now, I just need to sell an unfired G20 gen 4, I always take my G20 gen 3 to shoot and have never put a round through the gen 4. I always knew that the G40 was going to get here so I just couldn't bring myself to even shoot it once.

You may want to look for a different LE dealer. I know of one in the Springs that will match the price I paid.

Got the last one he had Friday. Had him install a set of night sights as well. Paid $712.00 for the G40 with a cash discount.

I think Bowers had one last weekend. Ark Tactical might as well but I'm not sure.
Didn't look at any prices but I bet a phone call or two would get you a price.
