I picked up a C39 pistol with the idea of using a SB-47 brace and maybe down the road getting an NFA stamp to SBR it. Well, with all of the new crap coming from the ATF about the braces and them running about $120 online I may as well just spend the $200 for the stamp and get a black polymer stock for it. Plus, I finally reached out to Rodney and got my trust setup. [WooHoo] Only problem is, I am having problems finding any clear info on doing this as it's a milled receiver and the angle on the rear of it. I would rather get an AK styled stock in plastic, but I'm starting to consider a 6 position M4 style if it can work out. Anyone have any experience doing this?

You'll need to buy or fab an adapter to cover the offset. Quick search using C39 stock conversions will get you a few reads & info

Thank you, I wasn't sure about the side folder adapter as I'm not a fan of side folding stocks. Though I guess I don't actually have to fold it over if I don't want to.

There are a few options, I'd go with a folder. Just to have that option instead of saying later, Should have purchased the folder. I like the folding stocks more for traveling than actual use.

Thinking this combo should have all I need to make the conversion to SBR. I'd prefer a solid stock, but I can live with this style. Also looking at a Burris Fastfire 3 for the optic.

personallyi'd just get the wedge fixed stock adaptor from usmachigun and use a fixed ace stock, just my opinion but with something as short as a c39 pistol I doubt youd have trouble getting in and out of mechanized equipment and helicopters ;)
