And it promises “no background checks, no paperwork, no infringement.”

I hope the show is a big success.
I hope the show is a big success.
I predict this will be a resounding success.

Wish Coloradoans had half the stones of those Washingtonians ... we're all pretty much cowed to the point where even pro-gun stalwart Dave Kopel is resigned to pushing to tweak the God-awful BGC law here to make it less annoying, but not get rid of it.

DADT
Makes me want a Miner's burger
This will receive zero media coverage, and the media will attempt to link every violent crime in WA for the next year to this show. Rather than point out how utterly ridiculous and ineffective the BGC law is, they'll find the one or two bad guys that willfully violated any number of other gun laws already on the books by buying a firearm at the show.

At a time the Obama Administration is blatantly having the IRS and DOJ act illegally and then thumbs its nose at Congressional inquiries, I wouldn't be giving them evidence for a trumped up charge to take what firearms I may or may not have by participating in something like this.

I don't know how this will play out. I'd be surprised if they can find an event center that is willing to risk hosting the event.
I might actually be there.
Bet the liberals convince a few fellons to go buy there so they can claim it provided criminals with weapons.

If I was there I would attend but I suspect that as it is here, prices would be way more that I would be willing to pay for a firearm. Still, it would probably be interesting to watch the civil disobedience and the results of it. Tanner in NorCO is next weekend, maybe the vendors will sell without a BGC if you ask politely.
I don't care for the private sale BGC law and I hope it will be repealed.

Regardless, We've had BGC at gunshows for many years now. That "loophole" was closed by the hoplophobes in like 2001 following the straw purchase made by the Columbine killers. As if a BGC would have prevented it...
Not saying it doesn't happen, DADT.
If I go im going to bring my ramset to illegally transfer. Those are controlled now too
Well.....I suspect there might be a few undercover folks lurking, looking for an opportunity to make an easy bust.

I believe they've done it multiple times now. If I recall correctly, it's becoming a regular event...but maybe under different names...
