Mom delivers beat down of suspect who crashed into her minivan after chase
DALLAS — Police in Dallas had some help bringing a high-speed chase to an end Wednesday.
It started when a man got behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle and led police on a high speed chase along Interstate 635. The stolen car hit a minivan that was stopped at a red light in a school zone.
The woman driving the minivan got out of the vehicle, grabbed the suspect from the stolen vehicle and started attacking him.
She and another man were able to hold the suspect until officers arrived a short time later.

Good for them but calling that a "beat down" is a bit of an exaggeration. I'd have just said they apprehended him while he tried to flee ...

Was that kid flopping on the concrete for the benefit of the future lawsuit?

I was expecting punches, kicks, knees and elbows about the head and neck. Anybody watch the kid?

Sniff sniff, repost? Not the only one using that sad line.

I'd have liked to see mom and dad have about 5min with the poop stain. Then the cops could rescue him from a certain doom.

Obviously the dude was fucked up on drugs or booze. Or he could be the biggest pussy-bitch thug in human history. (I wrote "thug", so am I a racist?).

You're right, but he's always first.

It was said earlier, but I was expecting an ass whooping and it was more like semi-controlled drunk ballet for three.

I was totally let down, going to go kick the neighbors cat to cheer me up. :(

You need to go back to school Ah Pook, and learn how to title threads without sensationalism. [Coffee]

Where did the other vehicle that was struck run off to? Those vehicles were hit pretty hard. I was surprised to see anyone get out, let alone everyone.

Yeah for Mom getting a new van.

[LOL]
"You all"
"y'all"
"you people"

I remember when I was in association/organization during school years. We (as us and different org/assocation) use to use the term "y'all"
One of the ethnic org member at our school came to a campus org meeting. He was African (from S Africa) and he used "y'all"

We all said "What do you mean y'all !!" [ROFL2]

This thread's fault is; 33% Obama's fault, 33% bad sensationalism from news media which Ah Pook copied for a title, 33% sarcasm, and 1% just for the guy who is stuck in the basement watching WWII biography reruns.

This was my thought. Since when is it ok to drag someone out of their car after an accident? Seems like a stretch to assume she knew this guy was fleeing the law. At minimum it seems like a case of assault on her part.

I think I would have a hard time remaining calm if that happened to me, especially if my wife and kids were in the car at the time.

She yanked his ass out of the car. If I get into an accident with you and you pull me out of my car I'd probably resist you as well. She was out of the car the second it happen. She wasn't interested in if he was injured she just went bat shit crazy on a guy who luck should have it was a criminal.

I should have clarified that I was responding to the sentiment of HoneyBadger's post about being calm. This lady didn't even give the guy a chance to run, or even get out of his car, before she started getting hostile.
