Hey guys,

First time AR-15 owner here, just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone. I've owned several HK-91 rifles in the past and finally decided to explore the world of ARs. It seems like everybody and their brother either makes them, or makes accessories for them. After doing some research, I settled on a Smith and Wesson M&P15 which I got for a pretty good price. So far I like it, everything looks to be of quality materials and construction. The next step is to take it out and shoot it.

Can anyone recommend a place where a person could set up targets at 100 yards, or maybe further? I'd be interested in anything from Boulder up to Fort Collins. It's been a while since I've gone shooting and don't know if there are any public areas available anymore. The last spot I knew of was up Left Hand canyon, but that's off limits to firearms now. I'd consider joining a private range if it's not too expensive. Thanks in advance for any help!
