I had a conversation with Chilean and Argentinian military in the late 80', where they gave vivid details on the different ways they could stop/disable a car using a shotgun.... And that the Chilean M16 were no match for the Argentinian FAL during the skirmish in the cordillera.
HFS, did you see the blood spurting out of his neck at 0:44.

Crazy this guy in a full sprint shooting at a moving target scores a kill.
Northglenn PD, with a vehicle stationary and at close range fires 12 shots and didn't hit a thing.

I wish I'd seen this 3 weeks ago when I was last in Chile.

1) dude was rocking that motorcycle.
2) dude was straight badass for RUNNING after the car when it took off.
3) shooting on the run, dannnng.
4) looked like it was right out of a video game, especially when he racked the slide after getting off the bike.
Wow.
I think I shot an indoor IDPA stage just like this once.
Pretty impressive shooting for sure. As well as the mad motorcycle skills. Bet the "suspect" will think twice before he pulls a stunt like that again.

I think he got like 6 shots total off and it looks like he got two head shots. Holyshit!!!
Had to watch it again. I didn't notice the neck shot the first time. What a heck of a shot!!!
Watching this and the long line of CA high speed chases, I see a solution.

No thanks. I have to go to LA every 2ish months for work. I really don't want LAPD taking shots on the run... with my luck, I'll be the privileged bystander who catches one in the chest.
One or both of those head shots were probably from the first cop shooting through the window at point blank.

Maybe we just didn't see it in the video, but it didn't appear that the cop had caused much, if any, collateral damage. I'm impressed.

All that for doing 7 mph over the speed limit.

If so, how did that guy drive away? I'm sure there is much the video does not show, but I don't see that guy driving with those wounds.
Very nice shooting. No citizen got injured from the video as we know of.

I saw a Live Leaks copy of this today where they blurred out the bloody parts. It said the guy was a 17yo car thief who injured someone while trying to escape the cops. According to the other video article, the thief didn't die until 2 days later. The cop is facing the same type of "excessive force" public scrutiny we're seeing here across the U.S. - including Denver. Their dwelling on how the thief was "just 17 years old" - even though the cop didn't know that at the time.
2 days? Wow. I figured he likely bled out on scene, as the cop was walking around before breaking out the passenger glass.

Guy looked like he had the top half of his head blown off a la Kennedy based upon the amount of blood spurting out of his forehead. Surprised it took 2 days, would have thought instant fatality.
Did I see a pistol tucked between the seat and the center console when the cop went in through the passenger window?

Next time he'll have his insurance card with him.
