I searched and there were only a few results for WSBK or motogp, mostly in threads that had nothing to do with the two series/sport.
Anyways, today starts off the WSBK 2015 season! First race weekend is at Phillip Island, Oz. Kind of a special deal for fans is that Troy Bayliss is replacing an injured Davide Guigliano for this weekend, and that guy is a damned legend.

[Beer] to my fellow race fans!!

p.s. for anyone that actually gives a damn about the motorcycle racing series (all 2 of us), are we going to post spoilers? I haven't watched the two races from today yet, so maybe keep mention of results out until the Monday after?

Typical stats for the uninitiated: 4-cylinder bikes, all around 1000cc, ~320lbs, ~220hp, riders around 140lbs give or take (some 6' giants are racing), some of the circuits have long straights that riders reach ~212mph at.

I've been a big MotoGP fan since 2003. I watch WSB when I get a chance.

I wish that they broadcast the WSB on TV, I have not seen a WSB race for a couple of years now. Watch Moto GP whenever I can.

If it's got to do with 2 wheels I'm in though as a youngster I raced moto-x and flat track-sure do miss flat track, especially the Mile.

I used to keep up but since they stopped televising it and racing-underground went down I don't have access to the races. Anyone have a invite to the new racing for me site? :-)

Wish I still had time to race but family is demanding all my time these days. Maybe in a few years I'll get back on the track just for fun?

Well, on another note, Chad Reed won the GA Supercross last night. Congrat's to him, I felt sure he would fold under pressure from Dungey but he held firm and did it. Puts him forth on the all time Supercross win list.

I can't find the current races on either of those. There used to be a site (now shutdown) that had links to torrents for all the races.

Same here. I don't miss riding when I see others out riding on public roadways the way I thought I might but the moment I sit down to watch a race I can feel my heart rate increasing. It's almost too painful to watch as it reminds me how old I've gotten and how happy I am to have walked away healthy.

I thought Dungey would catch him as well. I was hoping he would. But I ride orange, so I am biased. Reed rode a great race. Roczen seems to be falling apart under the pressure.

It is a competitive season so far, Canard is riding great, Roczen is injured but has two weeks to heal before Daytona, Tomac was charging but needs a little more seasoning as he is making rookie mistakes. Fitness is required for Daytona and that should play right into Dungey's hands. The way it looks right now, if Dungey can podium every remaining race with one more win in there, he will win the championship. Anything can happen though and Dungey might get taken out of a race and then the points will tighten up again.

For sure. It has been a great season so far. I like Canard and Tomac. Even if they ride the wrong color bike. I've lost some respect for 22 this year after his behavior.

Looking forward to some Moto GP and the F1 season. Nascar bores the hell out of me. I tried to watch the Daytona 500 yesterday and it bored me to death.

Haven't had a chance to watch motogp or superbike due to having no cable. At least nbc shows 4-5 F1 races per year on nbc.
Looking forward to F1 season as well. I would like to see how McLaren Honda does on a grid.
I wish F1 goes back to high revving V10/V8 era. There is no engine that sounds better than 18,500 RPM V10.

Funny you say that. I was watching Top Gear yesterday and they had an older F1 car on and it made me think the exact same thing. They used to sound SO much better.

Without a good American at the front (Nicky Hayden is in the twilight of his career, and Ben Spies just blew up when he switched from his miracle WSBK season to MotoGP) it's definitely not as exciting. Casey Stoner retiring didn't help, but at least Marc Marquez is pretty phenomenal. I actually find WSBK racing more entertaining than MotoGP.

WSBK/MotoGP broadcasts on TV are pretty dreadful, at least when they were on SpeedTV (what's the opposite of "RIP"?). I subscribe to the individual series.

This is really the way to go. It's expensive for the casual take-it-or-leave-it fan, but for those who enjoy the racing, it's a supreme value. You can watch all of the practices/races live, or watch after the fact at your leisure.

For WSBK, being a huge Kawasaki fan I've been following Tom Sykes for the past handful of years, and was a little disappointed with this past weekend. Oh well, it was cool to see Bayliss, not too bad for not having raced for years! MotoGP starts in about a month.
