View Full Version : Come shoot the T3 Precision rifle match! Weldona, CO -2nd Saturday every month!
This is a top notch long range precision match run by the guys at Trigger Timer Gun Club up in Longmont CO. The match is held at their "T3 Ranch" out in Weldona, CO. This is the same spot where this year's Sniper's Hide Cup will be held. The monthly T3 match a perfect opportunity to train-up for the cup with 10 stages of steel from ~250 to 1350yds, one stick/tripod stage, a mover at 430yds, a "shoot-house" for barricade style positional shooting, and a sight-in range with steel from 300 to 900yds. What's not to love?!? Come on up and join us! Sign up for matches and get more info here:

This is my first post here, but I feel like I've run into a lot of you guys at Raton, CRC, and some other matches (hopefully I'll be seeing you guys in Pueblo if it ever stops snowing!). I wanted to register on here and see if I could tempt some of the more Southern CO shooters to come up and join us for this match. I know the entry fee is hefty at $100 (Trigger Time has to pay the lease on that ranch), but that's easily less than what most of us spend on a weekend in Raton... Plus if you shoot well enough, you'll get your money back or even make some money!
Hope to see ya out there!

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pays out pretty well. Tell your wife you could be bringing home enough cash to take her out to dinner![Coffee]
Only if he learns to shoot better.
F*"* you Tim. Let's go man!
Mod edit - still a family site.
Stumbled across this match online, awhile back. Looks like a great time! Hope to make it up there when the weather chills out.

Hey Scotty, is this match more like raton or more like the safari? Rangefinder required?

Pretty much just like Raton in Format, there's some more distance involved though.

Yup, just like XC700116 says. Its all known distance. I hear they've got targets out to 1250yds these days...

Last month was cancelled because they didn't get enough people to sign up in advance. So we need everybody to sign up now! Forecast right now shows 83 F and 5 mph winds! Sounds like a perfect day for it! C'mon out!

Is the match a go for this weekend? I heard they changed the stages after Snipers Hide Cup. Is that true? Anyone have copy of card with new setup/distances?

If you go to T3main.com you can find a copy of the range card. Real similar to the Cup setup from sections A&B without some of the less common stuff. Essentially it's all prone shooting for the most part (except the hay bales), but distances and locations are about the same.
And yes, it's a go for this weekend.

Are these matches still going on through the winter months?

Try calling Trigger Time Gun Club. Paul will be able to give you a definite yes or no.

I talked with Zach a couple weeks ago and at that time they were looking to have them up and running again sometime around March.
