Wishing I had picked up a few more twenty round mags before the ban instead of so many thirty rounders.

That is all.

Oh well. Wish i sold ALL my AR's before 7/13 too.

Thought this was another Lasik thread.

Ray, I thought I remember you telling me you bought a case of 20 rounders just before the cut off on 7-1-13. Keep looking you'll figure out where you put them. Sometimes when I loose something just going on vacation can cause you to remember where they are, especially on driving vacations out of state.

Have seen a few shops in town selling parts kits in town.

I've misplaced all sorts of things in the move. I know there is a giant box of mags I bought back in the day round here someplace.

I had 5 20rd mags that absolutely would not work in my guns. No lock back on last round and causing malfunctions. Proven it was the mags. Magpul agreed to swap the cases out for the newst gen and the followers too. Sent them to magpul to be swapped out. MAGPUL claims they never showed up. Had no tracking because it was parcel post. Being it was kinda a local delivery. What a giant pisser.

That really stinks. Have you tried contacting them again? No receipt from the parcel post (I understand you didn't have tracking, but at least a receipt with day/time/$$ of the shipment?)

So if I'm looking for that box of 20 rounders I set aside somewhere, which manufacturer's name would be on the side? I know it's not Magpul and I'm sure they were metal GI type mags. Anyone?

I really cracked up on E3's comment... since I was cleaning the garage a couple months ago and came across a box of AK mags I forgot I ordered before the deadline... was busy at the time and just put them away in the garage and forgot about them.

It's a shame that giant box of mags I keep tripping over in the basement is full of 30 rounders.

Brownells, UI, Colt, CProducts and 2 others i don't have eyes on at this moment. I have a few Universal Industries and Brownells, along with "some" Colt factory 20's

Sounds like my house where my wife keeps tripping on or stubbing her toe on the box of mags still in wrappers from my purchasing prior to the deadline. I have mags in there for guns I don't even own.... yet.

I thought you said you bought a case of the NHMTG mags because they make the Colt branded mags which you thought were really nifty. I may have misheard but that sure seems like what you said at the time....?

Hopefully everyone stored all those forgotten orders of magazines up off the basement floor on pallets like I did, in case your water heater takes a dump the night you get back from an out of state vacation like mine did.
The pallets saved 9 months worth of ordering magazines for every rifle or handgun that I think that I may want at some point in time.

On a side note, Cope's Dist. Has the D&H 15 round AR magazines back in stock.

lol I did the same. Need to get me a FAL so I can crack open some of the mags I got. I was doing the same with AK 7.62 mags but ended up buying an AK before 7/1.

I just can't bring myself to do it. Buying one of those would be admitting to defeat and embracing the Blooomburger ethos.

Then what are going to do for magazines after you shoot all the bullets out of your pre 7/13 magazines ?........

That, right there, is why I don't go to the range anymore: once they're gone, I'm up the creek!
