View Full Version : Nothing to See Here - ISIS has a Training Camp in Mexico

I've been waiting for something like this to pop up, my wait is over.

http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2015/04/isis-camp-a-few-miles-from-texas-mexican-authorities-confirm/

The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.

The Washington Times picked up the story - http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/apr/14/islamic-state-operating-in-mexico-just-8-miles-fro/

It was only a matter of time.

I can see why they are going into New Mexico, lot more unarmed liberals there. Only eight miles out of Texas should be a simple sortie. Or a bunch of rednecks and a pickup truck with a spot light should do the trick.

Can I tell you how glad I am to be moving down there this Summer?

Southern NM doesn't seem to fit that mold from the research I've been doing. Honestly, it seems like NM has got their act together regarding the 2A. A heck of a lot more than CO does anyways.

From everything I've researched, I agree with you.

Santa Fe is New Mexico's Boulder....

Otherwise no worse then here...
Hell even better, no universal BGC or Mag size limits, and no Cities have banned AR's ..

So instead of Red Dawn, we'll have Sand Dawn? or would it be Sharia Dawn? Since ISIS has declared war on us, does that mean we could cross the border like Patton in pursuit of Pancho Villa?

C'mon Jihad Johnny, you know you want you some burritos and guacamole ...

Since their MO seems to generally be large and astentatious acts rather than the the lone suicide bomber I say game on.

Saw this the other day. Times, they are a-changin'. Everyone be safe, especially those of you who are moving closer to them.

Not surprising at all. That leaky southern border has worried me for a while.

They've had training camps in NY State for many years, in various locations. And there are others in our borders, nothing new here...

When are Americans going to wake up and realize that Mexico is NOT our ally ... in fact they've been all but engaged in undeclared war against the United States for years.

If we had a real American president the public would have found out about this training camp with a news story under the headline "US Airstrikes take out ISIS training camp in Mexico. Enrique Peña Nieto told to suck it".

In New York, instead of Labor Ready locations, they have Terror Ready locations.

If you didn't believe in the multiverse before, you should now just to feel confident that headline has actually occurred.

Really? You're willing to see a mall or a school full of innocents shot up or blown up on the off chance someone is in the right place and time to stop it? Unbelievable.

I doubt that's the sort of thing Chad was referring to Bailey, but I see your point... Your examples are precisely the kind of tactic ISIS would (will?) use in America....I do not foresee them doing what they're doing in the middle east, piled into pickup trucks and ransacking villages/towns on foot.... I'll let him explain his meaning, but I was under the impression Chad was implying they'd have a hard time using their pickup truck and home invasion tactics, in the USA...

Nothing to see here - Move along

http://pjmedia.com/tatler/2015/04/16/report-fbi-holds-special-meeting-in-juarez-on-press-strategy-to-deny-judicial-watchs-reporting-about-isis-on-the-border/

The government watchdog group Judicial Watch is not backing down from its report about ISIS training camps on the border amid Obama administration denials.

In a new report, up at its website today, Judicial Watch reports that a “high level intelligence source” has confirmed that FBI supervisors called a special meeting at the U.S. Consulate in Ciudad Juárez.

The source, who “must remain anonymous for safety reasons,” told Judicial Watch that the meeting was convened specifically to address a press strategy to deny their reports about terrorist activity on the border, and to figure out who is leaking the information to JW.

Considering the cost I'd much rather we go for the next couple decades with libtards saying "See, you stupid NeoCons were all worried about the Muzzies ... they're harmless." If they DO show up here then yes, we unleash the dogs and the silver lining will be that we get to tell the libtards to stuff it forever ... but its going to come at a horrific cost. Last time was two giant buildings and 3000 people (followed by a huge reduction in civil rights and huge growth in government including the creation of the most Nazi sounding US government agency ever; DHS).

I shudder to think how bad it will be if we see a mushroom cloud over an American city.

Sorry, that's just effing stupid. Instead of letting innocent people come to harm, I say we invoke the Monroe Doctrine and respond to ISIS's act of war and declaration of "bring it on" by taking the action to their camps. Who gives a god dang WHAT El Presidente el Mexico has to say?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that "Homeland" sounds just a bit too much like "Fatherland" and "Motherland". Department of Domestic Security would have been a better choice of name, for a bureaucracy that should never have existed.

We'd have to have a real president first.

More Americans will have to die before Obama decides that taking care of the country is more important than golf.

Or we could have just hired a few extra folk at the FBI or US Marshall's office and been done with it.

I'm not convinced that "more dead Americans" isn't Obama's goal, as opposed to simply a side effect of his incompetence.

Well, given the supposed 'founding fathers' of the DHS, this is no surprise...

And yes, it seems the goal of the entity in the WH is 'more dead Americans'.

Maybe I misunderstood his meaning. But what he said reminds of the people who wish for another civil war in this country out of some misguided, romantic sense of what the outcome might be like. More terror attacks in this country, regardless of the type of attack, is very low on the list of things I'd like to see happen for ANY reason.

Here's a thought: The border is porous in BOTH directions. Perhaps a group of sufficiently motivated folks could pay them a visit and persuade them of the error of their ways...

Those here have known for a long time that Mexico is not the friend of the US people. However, allowing an ISIS camp to be established on their own soil, in close proximity to our national border, says a ton about the Mex gov. Thats a level of hostility and threat that no strong nation would ever tolerate. Of course, under Beeho the US is anything but a strong nation...

In other news, Susan Rice said Bo Bergdahl served with "honor and distinction" and Marie Harf dismissed Henry Kissinger's and George Schulz's WSJ op-ed warning against the White House's Iran deal as "big words and big thoughts".

I won't fault the Mexi's for not moving on a threat to the US when they can't even figure out how to deal with their own shit (I.e the cartels).

Update - caught this on DamageFactory's Facebook page

http://www.cnn.com/2015/04/25/us/possible-isis-inspired-threat/index.html

The FBI is investigating a possible ISIS-inspired terrorist threat in the United States, law enforcement officials said Saturday. The investigation originated from intercepted chatter and other intelligence information that led officials to believe a possible plot could be in the works, the officials said.
No arrests have been made. It's not clear whether the threat is real or aspirational.
